Why Construction Teams Face Higher Risk
Construction workers face elevated risks of cardiac arrest, electrocution, traumatic injury, and heat-related emergencies. The physical demands of construction work combined with environmental exposures create conditions where immediate first aid response can be the difference between a recoverable incident and a fatality.
OSHA requires first aid kits at a minimum ratio of one per 25 workers, stored in weatherproof containers with individually sealed items, and inspected before each deployment and weekly thereafter. Having trained responders who know how to use those supplies is equally critical.
What Your Team Will Learn
Our on-site Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course covers adult, child, and infant CPR with the 2025 AHA updated techniques, AED operation, choking relief using the new back-blows-first protocol, bleeding control, fracture management, burn treatment, heat and cold emergencies, and other first aid skills relevant to construction environments.
Every participant receives an AHA Heartsaver eCard valid for two years that satisfies OSHA's documentary evidence requirement.
Group Training Logistics
We train groups of six or more at your location. Classes run approximately 4 to 5 hours for the full First Aid CPR AED course or 2 to 3 hours for CPR/AED only. We bring all manikins, AED trainers, and supplies. Scheduling is flexible to accommodate shift patterns and project timelines.
