Heartsaver CPR AED Course in Colorado

The Heartsaver CPR AED course is the American Heart Association's foundational life-saving skills class for people who are not healthcare professionals. Whether you're a schoolteacher, fitness instructor, childcare provider, office manager, or simply someone who wants to be prepared — this course gives you the skills and confidence to respond to a cardiac or choking emergency.

Unlike the BLS (Basic Life Support) course designed for medical professionals, the Heartsaver course focuses on practical, scenario-based learning that anyone can understand. There's no medical jargon, no hospital protocols — just clear, hands-on instruction that prepares you to save a life in the real world: at home, at work, at the gym, or in a public space.

CPR-Professionals offers Heartsaver CPR AED classes in Denver and Boulder, with flexible scheduling including weekday and weekend options. All classes are instructor-led by AHA-certified trainers who make the material engaging and accessible. Every participant earns a 2-year AHA eCard certification upon successful completion.

    • When and how to call 911 effectively

    Child & Infant CPR

    2-Year Certification

AHA eCard issued same day upon successful completion

Our Heartsaver classes are designed to be engaging and practical. You won't sit through hours of lectures — instead, our instructors use a practice-while-watching format where you learn a skill on video and immediately practice it on a mannequin with feedback. Most students find the class goes by quickly.

The course includes a brief written assessment and skills demonstration at the end. Our instructors provide coaching throughout, and the vast majority of students pass on their first attempt. Your AHA eCard certification is emailed to you the same day.

    Available in Denver & Boulder

We offer Heartsaver CPR AED classes at both of our Colorado locations. Need training for a group of 6 or more? We'll come to you — at your office, school, gym, or community center.

    Add First Aid Training

Many employers and organizations require both CPR and First Aid certification. We offer a combined Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course that covers everything above plus first aid for bleeding, burns, broken bones, allergic reactions, diabetic emergencies, poisoning, and environmental injuries.

The combined course runs approximately 5-6 hours and results in a single AHA eCard covering both CPR/AED and First Aid — valid for 2 years. Contact us or check our schedule for available dates.
